Opening day,  The Mets take it 2-1 over the Reds..  Oh it's a good day.  Not only because of Johan Santana's great performance again..  But just an all around great day..  How about Ryan Church with the defense?  Daniel Murphy with more clutch hitting.  Green, Putz, and Rodriguez putting on a show in the late innings.  I like how this team is built.  We have some stars in Wright, Reyes, Santana.  We have some mid-range guys in Church and Beltran.  And then we have the young, in Murphy.  I'm very excited for the season.  This team looks to be the best Mets team in recent years.  Let's surely hope so.

 

 

There have been a lot of questions about the pitching position...We will have a staff of 5...So everybody picks their top pitcher for the "ace" spot now..And then their number two and so on...Lets get this going!
